Hi,
Just wanted to stay in touch and keep you informed about what I’ll be up to for the next couple of months. |

I’m once again going to be accompanist for cabaret performer Kate Loitz in her Harry Warren salute, Hot Ginger & Dynamite directed by Erv Raible. In his Backstage review of the show, David Finkle wrote: “Where has she been all our lives?” By the way, it’s me at the piano on her CD, “I’m Glad I’m Not Young Anymore,” which is available at cdbaby.com.
Sundays, March 12, 19 & 26 at 7:00.

Admission is free for this performance by Christine Jowers/Moving Arts Projects. She mixes passionate movement, video, curiosity, whimsy, and even recyclables with dance history to create performances that celebrate modern dance and the women who create it. Isadora and the Dancing Goddesses of NYC features the choreography of a unique sisterhood of contemporary artists including Ann Carlson, Margie Gillis, Janis Brenner, Catlin Cobb, Rachel Cohen, Agata Oleksiak, and Jowers, as well as recreations of Isadora Duncan by Catherine Gallant. The show also features a vocal number that you’re sure to enjoy. And did I mention it’s FREE?
March 22nd 12:30 pm (preview show — no singing, but lots of great dance)
8:00 pm (full show including the vocal number)

This new short film has just had its first New York screening. It’s by the multi-talented Jason Fuchs, and I’m credited as “Music Supervisor.” There wasn’t much music for me to supervise, but I’m proud to be associated with this funny, funny movie. It’s kind of Woody Allen/Larry David/Christopher Guest-ish. I know you’ll love it, so keep an eye out. |

I’ll be teaching a master class/audition workshop in London at 2:00 on April 10th. The studio is right in the heart of Covent Garden, and there are still a few spots left in the class. If you have any friends “across the pond” who might be interested, please have them contact me. More information is at www.bobmarks.com/london.
My classes and private sessions in France (April 12 & 13) are all filled. I’m looking forward to meeting and working with Europe’s musical theatre community. |

That’s all for now!
